Privacy Policy — Owner Readiness Assessment

The Owner Readiness Assessment ("ORA," "we," "us") is operated by Cohagen Wilkinson Inc., based in Boulder, Colorado. This policy describes what we collect, why, and who sees it.
What we collect
Information you provide: your name, email address, company name, role, industry, the name of the advisor who referred you (if any), and your answers to the assessment questions.
Information collected automatically: we may collect basic usage analytics (pages visited, time on page, completion progress) via PostHog, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type). We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell data to anyone.
How we use it
- To score your assessment and deliver your results and report
- To email you your report
- To let the program coach prepare for a results review, if you book one
- To improve the instrument (in aggregated or de-identified form)
- To follow up with you about your results and related services, if you took the assessment directly (not through a partner page). You can opt out of communication at any time.
Who sees your results
- You. Your full report is delivered to your email and accessible via a private link.
- The program coach Cohagen Wilkinson, or the coach named on your program's page if you arrived through a partner, sees your scores and profile to prepare for a results review.
- Your referring organization, if you took the assessment through a partner page. If you accessed the assessment through a partner link (for example, an M&A advisory program), that partner's team receives your scores and results summary. This is disclosed on the first screen before you begin. If you take the assessment through the main page with no partner, no partner receives anything.
- No one else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Results are shared beyond the above only if you share them yourself (see below) or where required by law.
Links you share
You can generate a link that shows your results to anyone who has it. That link is random and unlisted, but anyone you give it to can view the report it shows (scores and profile — internal notes are never included). You can replace the link at any time, which disables the old one.
Service providers
We use a small number of processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Neon/Vercel Postgres (database), Postmark (email delivery), PostHog (product analytics). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Retention
We retain assessment responses and results for as long as needed to provide the service - including your ability to revisit your results - or until you request deletion.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing ora@cohagen.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Deleting your data also disables any share links.
Not financial or legal advice
The assessment and report are educational tools. They are not valuation opinions, investment advice, or legal advice, and no advisor-client relationship is created by taking the assessment.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note the new date above and, for significant changes affecting already-collected data, notify you by email.
